Uh huh sure they did.
The secret ingredient is cheating
Amazing what you can achieve breaking the rules 👍
Football Manager In Game Editor IRL.
Weekly City hate thread, everybody get in here
FFPEEEEEEEE
Just businessmen doing business. Nothing odd to see here at all.
10% margin is not bad.
Most supermarkets hit 3% margin. Amazon hit 1% margin.
I still think the primary intent of these fuel states when they buy clubs is actually to just make money and diversify their assets a bit, the sportswashing thing is really overblown in my opinion.
If cleaning their image was all they cared about they’d be buying the biggest clubs in the world and not buying ‘cheap’ clubs like Man City and Newcastle and turning them into profitable machines (too early to say with Newcastle but that’s the route they’re heading at the moment)
Their main intent was to get in on the property market in the UK. They used their purchase of Man City as an in to start buying up loads of land in Manchester on the cheap to develop. It’s also why Neville is such a big fan of them, because they fund some of his projects.
In 5 to 10 years you’ll see Newcastle have loads of new buildings built by the Saudi’s.
They do not care about their image lmao they have outright said that they don’t and it’s a business and hobby interest.
It’s an asset to them not some sort of imaginary vehicle for a perception they’ve said is meaningless to them.
Yup seems obvious to me but I’m sitting here on like -100 for giving my opinion and reasoning, pretty funny
Lol… As if 80 million profit is going to diversify a multi billion oil based economy.
How much did they pay you for this viewpoint?
technically they’re also investing this profit back into the club by using it for their lawyers’ retainers
Like your parents buying you a Ferrari, selling it a week later and calling yourself an entrapreneur.
So if I move £100m from one pocket to another, am I £100m richer?
🤮
Made all that turnover but only £80m profit.
Mate, double digit % net margin is bloody good, no matter what industry you’re in.
For a football club that’s amazing
That’s a good amount of profit for a football club. It’s about double what Bayern made in the same timeframe
Hmmmmm. Interesting comparison with Bayern. Nothing to see here folks, move along!
I think you need to have a look at Bayern’s sponsors and who owns half the club 🤦♂️
They had to pay a lot in bonuses for all the titles they won
Plus all the people they’ve paid off.
Oh shut up you little weasel

Look forward to seeing Newcastle’s after their “highly competitive process” to find a shirt sponsor.
Press x to doubt
Is this including the dodgy books or without?
Everything wrong with modern football.
