congrats on the steal
should take off the rims or paint them black
That is a good deal. You got cool wheels and it looks like a XLE or SE verstion. Nicely done. Give it a lot of oil changes and call it a day.
It’s a 4 cylinder LE
That thing is clean. Keep up with routine stuff. My 98 with 225k is starting to be hard to keep up with: oil leaks (oil pan), struts, sway bars, brakes, cv boots, spark plugs. I’ve done all the door handles, seat belts (they stop retracting), a few gaskets, hoses and radiator, but I don’t know if I’ll keep going. It starts to add up if you let things go.
I feel so ripped off. My car was above 10 grand and it’s a shitty 94 HP, slow, boring car with a 5 speed manual transmission. I live in Europe but I feel so ripped off.
Only because people told me to buy a newer car because repairs on a 90s car will be a nightmare, or so they said.
Did you have any expensive bank breaking repairs? I don’t think so, but feel free to tell me.
Nothing has broken so far. It’s been perfect ever since
Do you guys like go up north for these??? Here in Texas that’s worth like $6k (according to some people).
Careful not to dent the bumper ;)
My dad’s was a 1994 and it made it to 330k miles. Keep up with regular maintenance and you’ll get there.
Those 2000s are epic, beautiful car for a great price
That’s BEAUTIFUL. I’m so happy for you OP. I’m a proud 2003 owner and these things are fucking tanks. I got mine at 172k, great condition, no issues-like yours, and am still totally good today. You be gentle and take care of it, and it’ll take care of you for a long, long time to come. Send that thing to 300k+!
You must do your oil changes and regular maintenance. If anything ever feels even a little bit off, I check it out myself and schedule service if necessary. Do not take it to the dealership or chain shops like jiffy lube.
Congrats!
That’s a deal
you’re lucky, that’s a steal of a deal right now
Love the green
That’s a beauty! I bought my 2001 Camry two years ago with 140k and it’s done beautifully since. They’re troopers!
