    Yank here. So this could potentially lead to Everton getting booted out of the EPL? Or would they handle it a different way?

    I’ve seen sports in the US (mostly college) “vacate” wins before but it’s always after the fact so there’s no impact. This is hardcore.

      Points deduction makes it more likely they would be dropped out of the Prem at the end of the season through regular relegation. It seeems that many folks here and elsewhere think Everton will be safe and stay up despite this absurd points deduction.

    If anyone is deserving of the points deduction, it’s Tottenham. Always parading around like they are a decent club yet hasn’t won a single trophy in over 15 years!

    Everton’s points deduction is unjust, completely undeserved, and a serious blow to the league. If this was done to Tottenham instead, it would be no big loss.

    Bonucci was right. It’s the history of the Tottenham.

    At least this is a good season to take a 10 point penalty. Everton will still probably be safe. Luton and Burnley are so bad that 2 of the 3 relegation spots are already decided.

    Everton were on reasonably good form. I am 99% sure they will be safe.

    I honestly would not mind taking a 10 point penalty this season.

      If we are guilty of what it looks like Roman did, we will be blessed to only get 10 points docked. Our best hope is having new owners and cooperating as much as we are.
