Tesla owners are pretty stupid to begin with but anyone that buys that piece of crap is a moron.

I have a Tesla. I love my Tesla. I’m sure the CT will operate great like other Teslas.

I still think it is butt ugly.

I think at most this is a misunderstanding. That is, they actually hand over 10 units on the night, but deliveries will also take place at the service centers, maybe on Dec 1st if not the same night.

It won’t be 12/01 if they haven’t released specs or pricing yet. For these first 10, they’re certainly curated individuals who have no doubt signed NDAs. If they were ready to release any significant number of vehicles in the near future we’d have leaked pricing info by now

Even if they only deliver 10 this week it would just be a non-story. Start of production always will be slow. It’s true for every company out there and it has been true for Tesla in the past. I don’t remember even Elon ever claiming that they wouldn’t have to ramp up first.

The important question are: 1) What are the actual specs? 2) How many people are going to buy it?

Why not give them all that night? Isn’t that the point of the event? Why wait on some of them if they are ready to deliver?

Why tf is it so difficult to make these? Just take a Model Y and replace the frame with cheaper stamped sheet metal. The only good changes to make here for 99% of potential buyers are ones that might make it cheaper. Why overcomplicte this?

I suspect this is closer to when the delivered a handful of Model X to special customers and then stopped production for a while to finish the development. Unfortunately Tesla has this attitude of having to work fast and ship something instead of taking the time to get it right. My impression is that ultimately this stems from Musk being a bad leader.

They have more or less gotten away with it so far, though admittedly a lot of their bad reputation regarding quality was caused by it. It’s definitely going to be interesting to see what the reaction is going to be in the EV market context we have now and with this product being much less hyped than previous ones.

Think of all the positive reviews this guy is gunna drop!

I imagine a negative comment will be something like: “it’s a bit big, so you might be able to find less parking spots”.

When I saw this thing 4 years ago I said Tesla is done. Did not anticipate that Elon would be outed as an antisemite right before this abomination was dead on arrival. To whatever chump buys this thing, you deserve to get stranded. At least it’ll be bullet proof! As if that matters lol.

So done. Proceeded at that moment to go from $20/share to over $350 a share, and is still $230, and on the rise again, with amazing cash on hand now to weather the shitpost storm :)

      What does done mean?

Hey congrats on financially supporting a fascist man child. Or are you just praising the companies financials that are propped up by fairy dust and doesn’t have anything real backing it? It’s a bubble dude, get out now before Musk turns it into a game of hot potato.

Stop with the antisemite lie. He supports Jews and Israel. His comments were critical of leftest policies which some Jewish people hold that are detrimental to the survival of the state of Israel. Only idiots who believe the media smear campaign against Musk think that criticizing the policies of SOME Jews equates to antisemitism. It’s the exact opposite of reality, so stop repeating the lie.

they just want to say they delivered in 2023. It isn’t on their website with pricing or configurations.

Oh no! The sky is falling again!!! Hilarious. I hope Tesla succeeds with it just to disappoint the morons who’ve been saying it didn’t exist for years, and are now switching to fabricating constant imaginary drama. Gonna be interesting to see them either grow up and move on, or tie themselves into knots trying to persist the hate - what a weird way to live.

I mean, the Model Y, now the best selling vehicle of all also only sold a few at its launch event. Nothing is more boring that doing paperwork and deliveries. Wouldn’t be much of a party haha :P
