Browns are doing pretty good. If only they didn’t pay a rapist top jillion dollars I’d root for them.
At least the Browns are being punished for maybe one of the worst contracts of all time. Sucks that the beneficiary is a rapist though. Turns out Watson is the average-at-best unmotivated piece of shit we all know he is. Who could have ever predicted giving him so much guaranteed would bite them in the ass?
Lifelong Browns fan that put on Browns gear fear the first time since the trade (now that he is done for the season). Worst trade ever. Jimmy Haslam is the stupidest owner. Not only is Watson a horrible person, he quit on his team, and only had one good season where he lead his team to a record of all of 4-12. It’s not surprising at all that Watson’s only had like 3 games of above average play.
The crazy part is I really think with the Browns defense, Baker Mayfield would take them to a Super Bowl. Or they could have traded picks to the Bears instead and got CJ Stroud and dine even better.
In any case, Joe Woods is a football terrorist. Had Woods not ran the defense, it’s clear the Browns would have done better 2020-2021, Baker doesn’t leave, and we avoid the whole mess and instead the Falcons are the pariahs of the league.
Yeah sad situation for the fans all around.
Really rooting for DTR here. A shame the browns front office made the Watson decision
what a terrible way to lose. denver prolly not making playoffs either so wtf, vikings cant beat a non playoff team on their qb4 while also missing wr1 and defensive captain? terrible
Don’t worry, we’ll just beat everyone in your division so it balances out for you and doesn’t hurt your playoff chances.
all i ask is the lions get demolished. i have zero hope for the packers or bears to sniff playoff chances
I do hope Hicks will be back in time for the first Lions game. Jefferson should return soon. Should still make the playoffs, but with the loss last night and Bears losing to Detroit, winning the division is likely not gonna happen now.
detroit can still lose out. it is detroit after all
Awesome finishes to the morning games. Giants doing work. Lions finding a way to make it happen. So many close games
That was a safety.
Which play? They got 2 safeties in a row
Not sure about the first one. The second one was without a doubt though.
This fox broadcast has been terrible lol. Close up of Purdy’s face pre snap instead of showing the formations. Penalties called without even a mention, let alone a replay. Talking about Elijah Mitchell’s physicality “punishing at the end of the run” as he gets tackled normally by 3 defenders.
It gets really repetitive watching Niners on Fox recently. That commentary before the CMAC touchdown was spot on though.
It feels like they have a full script of talking points and they’re just getting through the list. Like CMC does punish at the end of a run, but Mitchell is more of a glass cannon type back. It’s like they just subbed his name in there for the “punishing run” talking point
My GOD what a throw from Purdy. Silence those haters! Jimmy G makes that throw 0/100 times.
Third and long, Denver. Time for another ineffectual screen pass.
Balls to go for 4th and 1 on your own 30.
I didn’t even know you could call Delay of Game on the defense
Honestly when Allen has regressed under your QB coach, why would you promote him to OC? McDermott’s decision-making has to be questioned.
Browns had limited Steelers to like 30 yards the whole of first half. Then they got 74 yards in one run play to start 2nd half.
Aaron Donald still playing to injure I see.
Kenny Pickett still looks like a servicable backup QB, not a starter. I’d hate to see Tomlin’s career hampered by Steelers over-reaching for a Pittsburgh QB because they whiffed on Dan Marino.
He hasn’t looked good but tbh it’s hard to tell how much of that is due to scheme. It’s probably a bit of both
They keep calling him DTR, and I keep thinking about RS232. Can they find a receiver they can call DSR?
Shakiri Shake?
Better than calling Josh “The Alien” I guess
