Seemed like they did for the first weekend of games and then forgot about it.

Here’s a better idea. No refs. Both captains have an argument between them about whether the ball was in or not, and whether it was or wasn’t a foul.

Someone’s dad keeps time. Bonus points if they own the whistle and don’t need to borrow one.

No handball unless a player physically catches the ball. Slapping the ball is fine as long as the offending player just says it was ball to hand.

It’s only offside if the offending player was in the box and was too lazy to try and run back.

If losing, the home team captain can take the ball and go home.

Sorry is the head of premier league referees having to tell the rest of them to follow an actual rule?

Does everyone realize how fucked that is?

Next he’ll be telling them to not be so biased towards Man City and Newcastle!

Forget correct VAR decisions - just book players for next to nothing. Totally without a clue

Don’t worry they’ll only punish an Everton player this week and then punish anyone again

Also if they’re gonna punish players waving cards, they should also card players who even complain after a foul suggesting it should be a card. To me it’s the same thing.
