Should pay him a salary for each position he can play, so £1m a week easy.

In current form I prefer him over Zinchenko, especially against bigger teams, so definitely a new contract and a long one

I do think an in form Zinchenko is so hard to replicate in our team though. The problem is getting him at his absolute best consistently.

Most of the time he’s good but his form has had some dips in recent months. Just hope it’s a case of him being in and out so often

Timber inverting from the right with Tomi on the left could be a potential option that could relieve some of that once he’s back

I think Zinny being in and out of the team via injury/rotation is the issue.

That said there is definitely room for tactical rotation (and of course rotation based on performances). I just think Zinny at his best will be the best option we can have if that’s possible

I don’t think Zinny is great against explosive wingers though. I’m much more confident with Tomi there vs the best of the best. I also think Timber and White offer more defensively as well.

Zinny controlling games is bar none though and he has a case through that alone too. I can’t wait until we have both options though

Good, he deserves it most definitely and his versatility is unmatched.

Based on current form and past performance I think it’s deserved. A lot of us forget that he was arguably one of our most important players in 21-22. I’m still adamant that we would’ve gotten top 4 if he didn’t get injured that season. Hell, maybe we could’ve won the league if we had him last year.

The way we offer contracts out like they’re candy is so dumb, unless his current one is running down he doesn’t deserve an upgraded one.

Tomiyasu hasn’t been that great either, most of his performances at RB have been unconvincing, he seems to be better at LB

Yeah that last sentence just showed how clueless you are, “a few good games off the bench”, like really?

Also, if we wanna keep him from moving to Bayern, we gotta make ourselves more attractive and the opponent less attractive, and better wages is one of the few ways. That’s just how things work in real life.
