If you are not familiar with streaming from your PC to your deck, here is a reminder that it is really helpful especially with very demanding games like Alam Wake 2 to be able to render in 800p or even super sampling it a bit to 1200p and watching it on the new OLED screen at its full high settings and ray tracing glory.
Unfortunately you can’t stream hdr yet through moonlight to your deck oled.
Is it possible to use Parsec ?
Alan Wake 2 on an OLED screen would be incredible
Is there any way to get rid of crushed blacks when streaming with Steam Link?
Not that I have found. Best to use moonlight
Is moonlight better than gamestream?
Moonlight is the client. Sunshine is a replacement for nvidias gamestream. But yes, it’s better.
If you mean is sunshine/moonlight better than steamlink, then yes x 100
Plz dont make me regret buying mine over the summer 😭
Does it stream hdr too? That’s what I’m really curious about.
so to get 800p you can only achieve by streaming?
I stream at 1600p it looks so good
Guys, do you stream via cable or wifi?
Does the Steamdeck use little power during streaming?
Looks amazing!
Out of curiosity, how is the game? I’ve been debating grabbing the first and playing through but is it worth the effort to play the second?
What is your connection speed? Are you using Wifi 5 or 6? What I really wanna know is how much speed do you need for a stable stream from PC?
I find the moonlight app works better than Steam’s built-in PC streaming option if you haven’t tried it. I don’t really use either much as I just would rather play those games on my actual PC or I use Nvidia Gamesteam to my Nvidia Shield and 4k OLED TV, but it’s nice to have options nonetheless
can you stream any game/content? that is that that game has controller support
