Does anyone have a good controller layout for ds/3ds where you can use the trackpad as touch input instead of the touch screen?

Or what about Wii games, at least ones that don’t depend as heavily on the wiimote?

Currently playing Ocarina of Time via the Ship of Harkinian PC port. It is truly amazing. I’d given up earlier with the N64 version because I just couldn’t get used to the controls, but this version is how I’d always dreamt of playing it. Plus so much of the experience is customizable via a readily accessible menu bar that I’ve mapped onto one of the back buttons. So glad I’m finally playing this game and thoroughly enjoying the experience!

    Honestly Switch games in general.

Trying to play any Switch game on an actual Switch is…disappointing. Consoles lags and chugs, barely passing 30fps in most titles.

And then you throw a Switch emulator on your Deck, and throw any random Switch game on it, and BAM! 60fps stable.

Honestly can’t go back to my Switch, it is an inferior version, which is hilarious to think about.

Also the OG Pokemon games are fun to do some runs in on the Deck.

All the Mame stuff really hits me in the childhood. The Wii U emulation is amazing as well and lets me play the Zelda windwaker hd/twilight princess hd which are both amazing games.

You might need to search for a different site that has different rom dumps. Some just have corrupt files and it can be a pain. Took me forever to find good Simpson arcade and TMNT turtles in time roms. But eventually when you find good roms I just run retroarch mame current and everything runs smooth. Also make sure the mame roms are in the mame folder. There are like 5 mame folders made by my retroarch but I put the roms in the folder labeled mame. It’s definitely best to find a YouTube tutorial to follow along to hope helps!

    DK! Donkey Kong!

I just finished the main game in DK Returns 3D, now I’m doing the temple levels so I can unlock the secret world. Man, best platformers ever.
