They’d be getting roasted for it just like google?

Why do apple fans have such a victim complex when their brand does something deserving criticism?

The last 4 negative iPhone posts show there is a clear bias and groupthink hatred for the iPhone on Reddit. The bolded one is this current post. I also wonder what you consider something deserving of criticism. I wonder if it’s Apple users liking the features they signed up for but being told by people like you they’re wrong for liking them.

I don’t know seems Reddit can find a way to cry or admonish the iPhone and care about the war. Seems the likes of MKBHD and JerryRigEverything can find a way to slander the iPhone, make to the reddit front page and care about the war. Seems like YOU can care about downplaying and derailing a conversation while caring about the war.

Like what are you trying to accomplish here? Google is also a trillion-dollar company yet it seems you’re upset I’m defending the iPhone instead of Android. That’s always the go-to for these comments. “Apple’s a trillion-dollar company, they don’t care about you.” All while you’re listing reasons Android is better and deserves more market share (money) in the US.

Was super excited to finally buy a Pixel phone, got a Pixel 6. Wound up pretty disappointed. I live in a warmer climate and the phone often becomes unusable in the car due to overheating. Battery life sucks too. Wish I’d gone with an S23, but unfortunately I depend on the ability to root my phone, and it’s not so simple with the newer Samsung phones.

Idk … I have a pixel and my wife has the s23. My battery lasts longer, and I generally dislike her phone vs mine … Personal preference i suppose.

Pixel phones just don’t have a good track record. I use to be an android user but after switching to Apple, everything is just easier.

I was an android person for over a decade. Until Android decided to become a shittier version of Apple. Samsung lost me with the stupid Bixby button that they wouldn’t let you remap (So much for vaunted Android customization). Android lost me overall with the Pixel and then OnePlus 8 with its stupid (curved) display that just created two vertical light bars on your screen. Once Android made rooting and LineageOS effectively useless due to Safety Net, I bailed.

I finally switched when an Apple 12 Pro Max was cheaper than the equivalent Android flagship. I have some annoyances with Apple and IOS, but they aren’t as bad as Android.

I miss the Bixby button actually, no official remapping but a $3 app worked flawlessly for me. Having an extra button that you could map however you liked was nice.

I’ve been out of the loop for at least 5 years now, what happened to Android that I can look into? I was considering going back to Android for my next phone, but it sounds like I missed quite a bit.

This and the Apple silicon breakthrough. It’s no wonder Apple is so dominant. Google really needs to invest in hardware to match their software to pull people back. I want to go back but they need to offer better value for money products.

Pixel 7 wasn’t good, especially after the software updates for some reason. That actually made me switch and try Apple.

Another good reason why I haven’t bought Pixel yet. Responses like these push me away from getting a pixel.

I’ve had two Pixels. Easily the best two phones I’ve ever had. The camera is unmatched. The fact that they don’t nickel and dime me for cloud storage is awesome as well.

My whole family uses iphones and the benefits of giving in are very real, however, I just don’t want to give up this phone.

Similar to me. Had my Pixel 3a since release, and before that I had the pixel 2. My 3a has only now started to have the issues with network availability, but it’s served me well, and easily the best phone I have ever used.

I had a Sony Xperia 5 II and I thought the camera on that was pretty good.

Then I got the P8P and the camera was so much better.

i haven’t had any problems. mine sits on the front of a motorcycle when i commute and has been stellar. bright sun, heavy rain and even sleet one stupid time.

had a crack since day one. tripped over my dog taking it out of the box and dropped it before i’d even touched it.

      its never dropped a call.

on pixel 6, since it came out.
