Like in all honesty I still don’t rate Raya I think it’s Saliba and Rice that are in front of him which have improved the team and as a result he barely sees any action anyway while Ramsdale saw so much more and had to actually perform week in, week out. And also as a traditionalist I value shot stopping more than say playing out the back. You don’t need to be elite to do that. Ramsdale did fine last season. And he was playing perfect before he got dropped. What a load of bs from Arteta!

Can the statbomb guy deep dive on GK prospects?

There has to be a new ederson or Allison level player out there.

We gonna need someon other than Hien as an option

      Exactly mate.

0 goals conceded. 0 mistakes as there were no goals conceded. If you claim he did make mistakes, they probably were Gabriel’s fault or Arteta’s fault or Brentford fan’s fault.

God-King Ramsdale cannot take responsibility for anything bad ever. He’s friendly and our mate. I’m literally crying that a man who makes 100k a week feels like he can’t focus for 90 minutes on a football match. Because he’s my friend.

Thank you for being sensible mate. COYR (come on you rammers!!!)

Absoutely does not. He was a mess in the first half and in the 2nd we had to abandon playing out from the back and couldn’t generate any attack for 40 of the 45 minutes

He’s a genuinely great lad and I would absolutely hate to see him out the gates. PR misshaps and what-not, it’s been a long time since I’ve felt like a loss when a player is leaving, for the better or the worse.

Good on you, Aaron, whatever you end up with.

But for the first time in more than two decades a good player is on the way out because we upgraded. I prefer this than the messy and humiliating exits of rvp, cesc, nasri, adebayor etc.,

I’m all for that! I personally prefer Raya for our club, but Ramsdale deserves first team ball (hopefully Bayern or somewhere away from a direct rival) and to be Englands no.1. He is clear of Pickford, southgate is a massive twat

I really want him to succeed, he’s in his head so much right now. He made mistakes last season but yesterday’s were really worrying

Okay, hear me out. Rammers is never starting Euro 2024, no matter what. He should stay because (i will cry if he goes) he can still fight back. He can still win back his spot if he keeps fighting. Right now for sure he is number two, and Raya was bought to be number one, but i actually think Mikel wants Aaron to stay, and I think he could be given a chance again down the road.

No chance the club allows him to move before the end of the season. What would we do if Raya get injured in Feb? Finish the season with Hein? No thanks.

Some of our fans should get their shit together a bit. Rambo is 25, it’s very young for a keeper to be starter at a top club. He still needs to learn and improve, he is far from perfect. And this mental experience also comes from some time on the bench and fighting for his place in training and the cup games.

He is a loving personality, but imo he lacks a bit of maturity. I never really feel safe when he is playing, he takes too many unnecessary risks. He should be more calm and composed. The fact he can’t focus for more than 15’ highlights that.

Absolutely love Ramsdale. Love his shithousery. Love him as a person, genuinely seems like a really decent guy. I’m going to be so bothered when he leaves.
