I paint monsters into landscapes. I try to do a lot of random doodling on paper. Sometimes things I’ve sketched get adapted to future paintings.

I love it! The frown, the way its eyes are fixed on something in the distance. Does it even notice the ship? Is it the equivalent of a human waving a gnat out of its line of sight? 😂
