I have never understood this philosophy. Ignoring the obvious double standard for handouts for the rich, this mindset doesn’t make sense. Any type of progress is unfair to those before it. Seatbelt mandates are unfair for those that were injured/killed prior to them being regulated. Smoke detectors are unfair for those that didn’t have one and lost their lives/homes. We could go on and on in a million different scenarios. Progress is specifically about finding something that isn’t working/fair, acknowledging that, and ensuring that it is corrected for future generations.

Is there a such thing as an honest conservative? Even in your personal life, can you think of one? Every word uttered by a conservative is deception, manipulation or profoundly incorrect. Every single word.

how is it fair that college used to be cheap enough to be paid for with flipping burgers part time in the summer now its a decades long debt sentence? maybe someone should sue over that.
