Hey man, since foldable phones are making a comback, maybe in a few years physical buttons will again too.

What’s old is new again. =)

Put the keyboard on the back. Fold it one way to open the inner screen, fold it the other way to get a keyboard.

This is my current setup and it’s not all that convenient. I would have loved Blackberry Key3 hay they went with it.

OP is dead to me without wireless charging. I had every OP since version 3. What an idiotic decision to remove Qi from new models.

Maybe this is just my own preference talking here, because I don’t like wireless charging myself, but my impression is that a major distinguishing factor of OnePlus is their fast charging, and wireless charging can push considerably less power than current OnePlus phones can intake via USB PD, even prior to the efficiency loss from wireless.

OP also had fastest wireless charging. You did have to get their custom charger, but it was worth it for $30. Came with a built in fan to cool the coil/battery that went full Ra mode, but 30w wireless charging was nice.

Not even close. I haven’t had a single phone that didn’t start having usb port issues especially with high bandwidth situations like Android auto.

Pocket lint, sweat, random shit. None of that affects wireless charging.

I loved how fast OP could charge, but I choose slow ass charging Pixel over OP because of lack of Qi.

I’ll be back on OP bandwagon as soon as they realize their mistake and bring back wireless charging.

Still, wireless charging is literally one 0.5mm thick coil glued to the battery or other part of the phone. Doesn’t require much in terms of hardware and it brings a lot of convenience. My phone is for example charged exclusively by wireless. I don’t care it’s slow. When I get home, I place my phone on the tray and am done. When I leave I just pick it up.

the OnePlus operating system moving away from a stock android feel killed it for me. warp charge was a heavenly benefit but if the phone sucks to use then it ends up useless
