I think this is a very clear demonstration of what it is that is strongly correlated with “people who answer the phone to unknown numbers and then stay on and talk to them at length”
Remember this when you read a poll that is concluding some more realistic-sounding thing
I’m surprised it is so low. I had two relatives die from COVID, plus a neighbor from my youth.Totally misread that as died from COVID, not the vaccine. Wonder if they misread too or are total morons.
Oh damn, I misread it the exact same way.
I didn’t misread it (though I could totally see myself doing so had the planets been aligned just a little more.) But I do wonder how that number compares to the number of people who claim to know someone who died of COVID.
Agreed, I lost a grandfather and a friend to it, and almost everyone I know lost at least a distant relative or friend.
But they can’t actually name the person, nor can they prove it.
