I learned of this song (unknowingly) because of its sample being used in Kaleef’s “Golden Brown”. Getting/get to know music was sometimes difficult back then: The radio stations rarely played Kaleef’s version (or didn’t mention the artist) there was no Internet in general, no Wikipedia, no genius.com, no Shazam…

And then, one day, I found the single in a record store while being on a school trip in a bigger city. Happiest teen alive.
