After over a decade on Windows, I recently made the switch back to Linux, and it’s been an exciting journey. The last time I used Linux, KDE was at version 4, so seeing the evolution to KDE 6 has been amazing.

One thing I’ve discovered is the AppImage format. It’s fantastic for quickly running applications with a single executable, but I found the manual setup a bit tedious—especially having to move each AppImage to a specific location and then creating symlinks individually.

Luckily, I came across AppImageLauncher (), which handles these tasks automatically. With this tool, you can skip the manual process, as it moves AppImages to a designated folder and creates the necessary symlinks for you. It’s a game-changer for managing AppImages on Fedora and keeps everything organized and streamlined.

If you’re new to AppImages or just looking to simplify your setup, I highly recommend giving AppImageLauncher a try!
