Feels backwards. The mind wants to sit around and consume stimulation while the body has needs that cannot be ignored forever.

Yeah, I’m not sure I really “Get” this joke. Maybe it’s like how ADHD affects somewhere where they forget to eat?

Edit: Btw, I have ADHD, but I’m the opposite, over focus on food, struggle to focus on work if I skip a meal.

People with ADHD can hyperfocus on tasks for many hours, I don’t even realize how long it’s been since I ate or used the bathroom until it’s really bad.

Maybe it’s me, I tend to hyper focus more on food. It’s a “good day” when I hyper focus on work and forget to eat.

Not only forget to eat, forget to drink, trying to ignore “nature’s calls”. Then thinking “why do I feel so weak?”

I feel seen! I live alone and for some reason I just procrastinate the hell out of eating. It just seems like a chore unless I’ve got something really delicious planned, especially since I don’t cook for myself so it usually tends to be leftovers.
