      Indeed.

And I guess we have no solidarity with the people of Ukraine, the working class of Russia, the Uyghurs in China and the women in Iran.

      Idiot tankie meme.

Yeah, ruling class is the enemy.

Explain to me again please, how does that make Russia and its buddies NOT the enemy? Because they fucking are.

I’ll never understand how tankies started simping for a fascist oligarchy, an Islamist theocracy, Hindu ultranationalists, and a fucking hereditary monarchy.

China, okay fair enough, that at least is in line with tankiedom.

These are not mutually exclusive fortunately. As somebody who also has friends in Ukraine I agree with others that Russia is very much an enemy.

The recent video of the 5 year old girl breaking down sobbing when she sees her kindergarten has been destroyed by a missile is proof enough for me. Someone had to choose that as a target, someone had to approve it as a valid military target and someone had to get in a plane with 200kg of explosives in a missile and actually release it towards the target. That’s three people who could have stopped this and chose not to because all they want is to kill the people they have been told are the enemy.

We decided as a species after 1945 that “I was just following orders” is not an excuse we would ever allow again.

I might not be a soldier of politician but I can tell what evil is when I see it and I will do what I can to hold them accountable.

Слава Україні, Слава героям, смерть ворогам.

Keep in mind that when you describe a country, you are usually describing the government, the system of rule, and thus the ruling class. Sure it’s not your ruling class, but it is a ruling class. So you still can’t trust them.

Then there’s evidence of interference with politics as their ruling class tries to bring your country down to advance themselves. Thus making your local ruling class even worse.

I would definitely change the wording on this from naming the country, to referring to its people, because yeah, those states are enemies to their own people and to others, like all states (to varying degrees, but still), but we have more in common with an Iranian, Russian or Chinese individual than we do with a billionaire or even multi millionaire from any country

Also there is no denying the class war is a vital one, but it is not the only one by a long shot, and class reductionism will only ever keep us from uniting to fight all of the wars that need fighting before we can be free (the war against white supremacy, the war against the patriarchy, the war against abled supremacy, the war against hetero-cis supremacy, and so on. If we only fight a class war, all of those remain, and those of us impacted will still be oppressed)
