Why?
It’s addicting and creating unhealthy situations in my life.
There arent any viable alternatives to youtube. I use RSS feeds for my subscriptions and mpv / other frontends for viewing.
Revanced broke where it will only play 10-30s of a video before it stops loading. I was too lazy to update so I just stopped watching YouTube on my commutes. At most I pop in to watch some specific YouTubers: Cody’s lab, Tom Scott, IMSAI Guy, Steve mould, etc. But only maybe a bit on the weekends. Ive been looking to get a new laptop to use during my commute so I can get something more productive done
