I thought Tomiyasu, Rice and Jesus were fantastic, Martinelli, Saliba and Big Gabby great, Jorginho and Saka decent.
Odegaard was not good, got a lot wrong both technically and positionally.
Raya and Nketiah were terrible.
That goal and that assist is going to earn Jesus the MOTM for sure – however Tomi had a practically flawless performance tonight and stood out as a cool head at the back, especially in contrast to Raya at times leaving us vulnerable.
Raya again with a couple of questionable decisions and a few good moments too, a mixed bag that perplexes the fans who were happy with Ramsdale despite his distribution not being his strength.
Jesus was poor first half but turned it around. Odegaard and Saka were the only ones poor from start to finish. Jorginho made a bunch of mistakes but was decent in rest. The defence was good with Tomyiasu impressive again. Rice was an 8 again, every time he is at least an 8. The subs were nothing special bar a few good runs from Trossard. Raya with some meh moments again, and that punch at the end was both vital and poor at the same time lol. He had to get to it, he did, but he kinda fluufed it and it was almost an own goal
Nketiah, Odeggard and Jorginho really deserve a 1. It is upright shameful.
