I’m taking a trip, so I held off on it until I get back. I’m looking forward to it though.

No, you didn’t. You saw a third party controller.
I guess the goal is to profit from confusion, and it seems like it’s working because even people on Lemmy are tricked by it. Consider the average consumer.
I agree, and the fact that you just run past most of it on Torrent really makes it feel pointless. The corridor design made it so you at least had to try to run past all the enemies. The limited scale also made every location feel more meaningful. That isn’t to say there isn’t amazing design in Elden Ring, but there’s also a huge number of essentially useless locations.
Elden Ring was great, but I like the other games better. I really hope they do another fully connected world like Dark Souls 1 again.
In my experience, usually it is not. I have mine not blur because I like to live dangerously, but it’s usually naked women. You do see the occasionally penis, but that’s just the cost of doing business.
Probably depends on the math. If it’s descrete math, or anything where you have to prove something, having internet access isn’t going to help (unless the test has been reused and uploaded). Either you can write a proof or you can’t. Looking something up probably can only get your so far.
I think it also has a secondary binding of alt-f2 or something. I had to unbind alt-space because I kept hitting it while playing a game. I use alt for push to talk almost always, so that causes issues.
One huge use I can see, but isn’t being used as far as I’m aware, is data centers. They use a ton of energy, but when it turns to heat it’s only seen as a negative to expel. Why not capture it and use it to heat houses/water or something? It turns the massive energy use into effectively near zero, since heating is needed anyway in a lot of places.
Yeah, I watch him. It’s not Mythbusters, but it’s still entertaining usually, even when he’s doing the most boring things. It really shows how good he was as an entertainer.
Adam and Jamie were awesome, but I’m certain there are some passionate makers or something out there who could fill the role. It wouldn’t be the same, but it could be it’s own thing. Whoever the new hosts were must have just been the wrong casting, but also I don’t know how much Discovery cared because I didn’t know about it and I was a huge Mythbusters fan. I guess I just didn’t pay attention because Discovery had already killed everything that was worth paying attention to them for by that point.
I’m fairly confident there was a Netflix (or maybe someone else) Redwall show being made. With the number of tie-ins MTG has been doing lately, I’m surprised this isn’t one. This is Redwall, whether they can use the name or not.
It’s amazing to me that Discovery hasn’t tried to bring Mythbusters back. Instead they double down on Ancient Aliens and Pawnstars garbage.
That video makes no argument for consciousness being required. Also, Sabine is not a reliable source of information. She is confident and convincing, but that doesn’t make her accurate or correct.
For an example, not related to this topic: https://youtu.be/s7XAxiJGJdg?si=S0IkGdF_EV5If_wJ
You’re being down voted, but I want to add in that terrorism is a word used by the ruling class to tell you who to hate. When the state (usually, although this case didn’t exempt them) uses violence and fear, that’s the good kind of violence and fear. When a non-state actor uses it, it’s terrorism. The only thing that separates “justified force” from “terrorism” is if the ruling class wants you to like it or not. For example, look at what the IDF is doing. It somehow isn’t terrorism just because they’re a state who’s in favor with the ruling class?
This also implies the most moral Mormons would stop spreading “the truth.” They would sacrifice themselves to save the many. When has religion actually dealt with morality though?
The most recent one I watched was Dune part 2. Before that it was Dune part 1. I have almost zero desire to see what’s being put in theaters over the last decade or so. It’s almost all the same crap.
I was pretty confident this was someone’s (hopefully joke) tail butt plug. How is this a really thing?
For your final point, that’s not what that means. It’s not “observation” that collapses the wave function, at least as you’re understanding the word. It’s any interaction that requires the information to be known. That includes any particle interactions. It’s not consciousness that matters. When we “make a measurement” it’s only recording information of an interaction. It doesn’t actually matter that we record it, only that there was an interaction. There is zero metaphysical consciousness mumbo-jumbo involved.
Ah, totally misread your comment. I habitually read Z instead of X.
Personally, I think it’s most likely that he’s composed of many people. It’s a bunch of stories which all got attributed as one person, which isn’t uncommon. Personally, though I’m far from an expert, I think there wasn’t a singular Jesus figure who actually existed, but rather a story of a figure named Jesus that rose from stories about other events.
Like you said, it’s almost certain that something was happening around that time. In fact, there are many more Messiahs who were mostly forgotten. I just think it’s most likely that people told stories and those stories all merged together into another larger story, which then became the story of Jesus.
The picture is clearly far too high quality for pre-internet. Technically it could be a DSLR or something, but almost certainly this was a phone camera, so it must be fairly modern.
