    Why doesn’t Havertz dribble more? I’m not an expert (at all), but it feels like Kai is always immediately passing - mostly one touch. Ball movement is great, but it feels like he could carry the ball more sometimes.

      He’s not good at it.

      He’s one of those robotic 21st-century players that eye test doesn’t reward but has numbers that make them it.

      So his thing is being physical and making quick decisions. I’m not kidding when I say that he’d start ahead of many aesthetic players for modern managers.

    It’s very hard to judge the finishing ability of players who seem to hit the ball very well but also miss sitters. You feel like you want to see them consistently miss a bunch of normal chances before deciding.

    Partey coming back for the second half of the season with zero fatigue has big upside for us.

    I hope this can be a season where we build up to maximum momentum and play our best football in the business end of the season.

    I see some “criticism” around Rice for his lack of through balls, but there’s the thing Vieira was more of a ball carrier as well. Vieira was way more press resistant than Rice though.

      Yeah let’s all just appreciate the fact that Dec is 24 and already generating valid comps to Patrick MF Vieira.

      Rice will go down as one of the great CMs in PL history, I have no doubts.

    Youssouf Fofana is the most realistic complimentary piece we can sign in January. Can’t be too expensive in January either with 6 months left on his contract, I need Edu to be tampering heavily!
