All the plastic brigade crying about Havertz are proof that he is going to come alive for Arsenal - they always have egg on their face, time and time again, and if they claim something, always assume the opposite is what will actually happen.

His contribution in possession is almost statistically the worst in the league.
Choose any random midfielder and they will probably have contributed more.
He has made zero through balls, had zero open play shots on target, zero successful crosses, barely created any chances (like 3). Plus so many other things he is bad at.
The only way to have total belief in him is through blind faith, hopefully his defensive contribution is enough because I don’t see him improving in the long run, zero technical ability and he is too old.

Back in like 2018-2020 this sub was obsessed with at the time AFCW player Danielle van de Donk because she’s super good looking. Every post she was referenced in had guys on this sub thirsting over her in the comments.
Eventually the sub collectively decided to stop with it because it was a bit weird. People were down BAD bro.
These days the posts about the Woman’s team here are a lot more normal, only the occasional praise for Leah Williamson’s looks get through, and it’s generally more respectful than the van de Donk days.

I do think Luiz wants and would love to join us but he probably won’t try and force a move.

Don’t think we’ll get a starting LCM in Jan. The club might just hold tight with Partey and ESR returning, or buy one for the future - more Kiwior than Trossard/Jorginho.

Nah Iraola is safe I reckon, they’ve got two good wins in the last 2/3 weeks and they had a really hard schedule to start off with.

If the bottom three stays the same and continues to drift, there may be very few. It’s a weird season all-round, and if established PL teams aren’t in any danger of relegation there won’t be sackings.

I think it has mainly to do with the lack of available top managers. If there were replacements available, ETH would be out for sure. But who are you going to replace him with. Potter?
Chelsea have realised that they can’t keep sacking players, no matter how shit the results are this season (unless we are talking about genuine relegation danger).
Crystal palace are doing Crystal palace things, so nothing will change there. The bottem three is as expected. Wolves getting results just in time for them to consider sacking the manager. Silva has enough credit based on the previous 2 seasons to not be in danger.
I genuinly think the one that might be in danger the most could be Howe, because of the ruthlessness of oil clubs. I don’t think anyone is in danger, and I don’t think the Saudis sack Howe, but I imagine that if he gets in the bottem half of the table there might be trouble. Also depending on his cup performances ofcourse
I think Edu is going to force Arteta out over this Havertz scandal and we can finally get a serial winner in here like Potter or Conte to help us get top 4.

I feel like Artetas training methods is contributing to our injury issues. In Parteys case especially almost all his latest problems are coming from a kick in training.
Lol. Lol. We have basically 3 big injuries, which is pretty normal. And of the 3, 2(Jesus and Partey) are injury prone and 1 is a freak injury(Timber). The rest of the injuries are pretty short term. The thing with Partey is I think his body is done. And I believe that a big cause of this is that Partey is older than his official age. It’s something thats consistently done by African athletes and is pretty much accepted. I’m an African and in as much as I don’t like it, I understand it since it’s mostly their only way out of poverty.
People still don’t understand that your defender having higher tackle and duel numbers just means that your team is having to defend more
Honestly I’m fine with Saliba going under the radar. He’s incredible. I don’t really buy into all this shit that we need to argue Saka is better than Rashford or it makes any difference if people think Bruno Fernades is better or worse than Odegaard. I’m happy with our players, other teams have good/better players. Doesn’t make any difference. Like Chelsea are closer to relegation than us, I’m sure you got some people debating how Colwill is streets ahead of Saliba.
