I will be honest, I suspected this was happening and its a huge part of why I love Roman. Whatever happens, I will always have the great memories.

5 Premier League titles, 2 UCLs, 5 FA cups, 2 Europa leagues and 3 energy drink cups.

Memories are priceless. Great moments no matter what happens.

I think rational City fans feel the same way.

They’re probably going to struggle to punish us as we’re under new ownership etc, anything they try will be a massive legal battle and drag on for likely years before it’s settled.

Would have been a lot easier to do if they didn’t make him sell the club though!

Which makes me think cos he’s not there and holds no real influence is why they’re now asking questions. If City group left I have a feeling their charges would be dealt with sooner.

Oh well… whatever happens, I’ll still love this club. The human that were part of it will never leave my memories. But brings the question, do all other owners work ethically? It’s just weird because all this should have been investigate while he was around. I see some hypcrisy

I hate FFP, so I’m just here spectating at this point. Personally, my belief is that owners should have to put up the fees/guarantee things like transfer fees on the spot, ala put $100 million for a player in a special account, so that the argument of “spending beyond your means” doesn’t happen because you have to prove you have the means to amortize on the spot before buying the player

Ownership Investment shouldn’t be determining factor in this though. We shouldn’t be reliant on outsiders propping up our clubs, they need to be sustainable in their own right.

Clubs need to create and sustain legitimate revenue streams and that is where the majority of transfers should be coming from. Extra OI should be a flat cap across the league so that Bournemouth’s owners could personally spend the same as City’s owners of say £50m per year. The real issue is the creation of false sponsorships, above market value, that are essentially ownership investment in disguise.

Lost the equivalent to a million pound a week throughout his rein despite all the income generated. Shocking it was allowed to happen

These allegations are at least as serious as City’s 115 if not more by the way.

They’re being accused of systemic and deliberate financial irregularity. Their new owners have already admitted/exposed misreporting under Roman (and they were fined by UEFA this year) but remains to be seen whether even they were aware of this.

Don’t care if you let city and Newcastle do whatever, such crap as you already shat all over Chelsea for this. Move on or hammer the other oil clubs.

Chelsea got their money from a Putin sanctioned Russia oligarch. That’s about the dirtiest, bloodiest money in the world. The whole club should be utterly ashamed of taking that money. Absolutely vile club.

Honestly I’m not surprised at all. Chelsea are nothing but a bunch of fucking cheats who bought all their trophies with dodgy oligarch money. Chelsea are a club I would love to see liquidated. Fuck Chelsea and their fans who are a bunch of cunts.

Again, why tf is this an issue AFTER the Roman era and when we have new owners? If anything go solve City’s 100-and something breaches first🤦‍♂️

It’s an issue after Roman because the new owners were the ones who reported the irregular accounting practices.
