I’m looking to replace a Ubiquiti EdgeRouter X, but I can’t seem to find anything else like it with higher speed ports. I’m hoping someone might have a suggestion for me.

I don’t have a rack. My networking stuff is tucked in my home theater stuff where it’s visible, so wife approval factor is important. In other words, it can’t be rack width. I prefer enterprise grade hardware for reliability, firmware updates, and configuration flexibility. Those units usually have a big footprint though, hence the challenge.

I need a router with a minimum of three 2.5G or 10G ports, but I can get by with two as long as I can set a Gbe port as my WAN. I care more about the local network file transfer speed than my internet speed, which is well under gigabit.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
