    Massive oversight by Tesla into not buying them first or signing a lengthy exclusivity deal. I think Japan and Germany have the only other companies that can make molds that big.

      Yep the article mentions that Tesla has already moved on to other suppliers in Germany, Japan, and Britain. My guess is that this won’t have a huge impact on Tesla operations, but is rather meant to boost GM’s production capabilities.
