Can you find me an example of any other laptop manufacturer acknowledging negative things about their own products? Like an Acer representative apologizing for the shitty thermals on their $1000 gaming laptops, for example?

Why is only Apple held to this standard?

Just chiming in here, as an owner of a $2000+ when new 2017 macbook pro that apparently isn’t even being covered despite being susceptible to the same issue. It makes me feel like this investment is a waste and a ticking time bomb.

I still have a 2012 macbook pro in working condition as well, and I expect Apple products to have a long lifespan for how much they cost. Design flaws and known issues must be addressed, and Apple should be held to this higher standard because of their premium price tag and high company market cap value due to their reputation. If they lose their reputation for quality products and support they won’t be able to charge premium prices or sustain their valuation.

I’ve not had any issues with my Legion 7 from 2021. Been following the subreddit and Discord, doesn’t seem to be any major issues, unless I missed them.

Pretty great PC that can be moved around really easily and the 3080 performs similar to a desktop 3070. Perfect for the super bright 1440p screen it has.

I do really like the legion laptops as well. If a customer is requesting one, i begrudgingly point them to those systems.
