The only thing real about anything of this nature is that if you spend lots of time obsessing over an idea, you’re more likely to get over whatever makes you not do something about it. Hypnosis is just guided meditation, so you’re literally just meditating on your desire.

With that in mind, I don’t think subliminals will do anything because they don’t actually do anything for anything else, either. It almost works as an advertising nudge, that’s about it. Since one of the main ways of trying to do it is a rapidly vanishing message, I feel like the main impact of this on society will be somebody doing it wrong and causing seizures.

when it comes to what you can expect, i really only know my experience and it’s gonna be a ride of seeing what works best for you personally. I’ve been into subs since like 2016/2017-ish and I’ve had some that work other people not work for me at all and some with like 200 views that worked insanely well for me.

i’ve never really had negative adverse effects from them. there are some studies I’ve seen that discuss the long term negative effects of “subliminal messaging” but I feel like there are a lot of scare tactics in the community about subs with adverse affirmations. there’s really no downside to at least trying them.
