I’ve been hearing about this company just taking money and doing no legwork for years. Caveat emptor as they used to say. Not that the other distributors for streaming services are much better (eg Distrokid and CDbaby)

    This is why as a small-time artist, I just go for a distributor who doesn’t charge a fee upfront for uploads and instead just gets a 15% cut from revenue. I’ve earned $170 for 60k streams so it’s not like either of us is getting anything significant. lol

      From the data I’ve read online in the music sites it seems most people dont even get to that level. But its obviously a money spinner for the distributors, collectively.

      Any recommendations on distributors like that? I’m using DistroKid. While it’s fine, it’s not great.

        I use onerpm. They’re primarily latin america focused, but all I need is to get my music on streaming platforms and it does the job. They’re not perfect either and I’ve ran into several issues, but they are so far the most competent among the “free” distributors. They also have nice dashboards to track your music’s performance on streaming (just spotify and apple music though).
