Canada has a 15 year import rule, instead of the USs 25, and I’m thinking of importing my next car. I like weird stuff that you don’t see all the time, and jdm cars are decently popular around here. What is something that is cheap in its home market, but super rare in North America?
Right now, I’m thinking about a Mahindra Thar, but I could also be really happy with an Opel Tigra
Original ford puma…
That new pickup Toyota is about to sell for $10k base outside of the US. that is without airbags and aintilock breaks (supposedly to make swapping on heavy duty axles easier), but they are optional. I would gladly pay $15-20k with those options.
2032 we can get the alpine a110… Not sure I’ll bother waiting with the emira somewhat available…
Yooo you should get a Mahindra Thar lol.
Some kind of open wheel car from Europe.
Im no sport enthusiast, Honda beat, Honda s660, Toyota Sera. I wish there were more 2 seater cars.
Perodua Myvi. We drive one now and it’s the greatest little POS car I’ll probably ever drive 😂. Cheap, reliable, no-frills and just zips around town, you can fit it into just about any parking spot. Hubs and I joke that we want to import one with us when we move back to the US 😂.
Toyota celica gt4
The Ford Everest.
Nissan Stagea
Touareg R
2008 Audi RS4 avant
Honda Fit. Cheap, efficient, reliable, practical. Can’t get that anymore here in the states.
Mitsubishi FTO
Golf R wagon.
