In your opinion, what are some of the greatest giant-killings in football? I’d be much more interested in any answers that don’t revolve around the FA Cup!

    • 2003-04 Champions League: Deportivo beating Milan and Monaco beating Madrid in the quarterfinals. Depor lost the first match 4-1 and scored 4 in the second match. Meanwhile, Monaco lost the first match 4-2 and beat Madrid 3-1 on the second one.
    • Steaua beating Barça in the 1985/86 European Cup final
    • Alcorcón beating Real Madrid in the 2009/10 Copa del Rey

      Monaco - Real Madrid is one of the best UCL games I’ve ever seen.

      Raul scored first, so Monaco needed 3 goals at some point. They did it with Real reject Fernando Morientes, against the original Galacticos (Zidane, Figo, Ronaldo, Roberto Carlos, Raul, Casillas…).

        Raul, Casillas and Roberto Carlos were already in the club before the galactico era and are therefore not galacticos.
