Hi all, I recently brought a 2018 cx5 has ~75k on it. Went to Mazda dealership for an inspection and they listed all these service suggestions. Just want to ask if these are all necessary at do at this mileage?? How often do you do these maintenance on your car?
Ngl it’s quite some money to spend and I’m wondering if I could postpone some of these especially closer to holiday season. I ruled out cabin filter and wiper bc I did that myself (can’t believe they charge $80 for a $20 filter change?! Wtf). Fuel induction seems like a scam for them to make money. The used car dealership just changed oil before I brought the car so that’s good too.
But for belt tension leak, I know it’s a known issue- I haven’t heard any squealing noise from engine, is this urgent? Should I get it done at a local shop for a lower price?
Should I also consider change brake fluid and differential fluid soon too while not knowing the history of this car maintenance from previous owners? (CARFAX only had oil change records) do y’all usually change spark plugs too around this mileage?
Thank you for any info here!! Hope this can help other fellow owners who have the same questions too.
Do spark plugs and diff now. Brake fluid and tranny as soon as you can, and tensioner no later than next oil change.
