Yeah can’t lie man I drive in Eco pro all the time. I’ve driven around 10k miles in past 3/4 months
Always, ive I’m not pootling around in traffic its sport+ and manual.
What kind of Sports car has an Automatic??
Oh wait, it’s a BMW, not a sports car.
Oh shut it.
Whenever im in sports mode which is 95% of the time unless i have company then its eco mode cause x3 m40i really unpleasant from 0 in comfort
“I get that we all drive in sports mode” get this guy! Yeah maybe if you’re in a diesel but sport mode in an M car constantly is hard to live with
my bimmer currently hasn’t been tuned yet and only has 184hp😢
So pretty much always sport+ with sport transmission. Except when driving with slow traffic because without coasting that drives a little annoying.
I’m primarily in eco pro mode… AMA
2012 335i sport mode - manual mode 24/7. Feels way better to me and make the car feel less… tired?
No I’m not a poser, I can drive stick and have had a manual car and regularly drive manual cars at work.
Are you saying there is any other way to drive the vehicle? I’m just sad those aren’t the default settings and I have to press a button and move the shift knob to three left. Those 2 steps are slowing me down.
These shifters look like something you’d find in your grandma’s perfume organizer.
My preferred way to drive in town
If it ain’t a stick then I don’t drive it so yeah sport transmission!
E46 here I drive in auto for daily commute but sports mode or manual shifting for higher speed limits for sure. Manual > Sports for highways too cause I can stay in 5th gear nice and quiet but drop to 4th if I wanna overtake, rather than Sports staying in noisy high revs constantly
I like comfort a lot more than sport, the ride just feels better
I only engage sport or sport + when I need the extra power to overtake or merge when entering highways.
