    It’s cheap(er), it seats a lot, and it doesn’t cost as much to maintain or fuel up. Makes sense for a for-profit dealer to run as a shuttle.

    It’s for capacity as they shuttle multiple customers sometimes and also it’s cheaper than putting an X5 as a shuttle.

    The guy I shared a shuttle (some kind of Vauxhall van) with from the service centre made the same joke. The moan and expression from the driver suggested he’d heard the joke enough times.

    I tried to improve the mood by suggesting the guy should get a Merc next time since they make vans. Then we started talking about the van-shaped 2-series Active Tourer and its rear legroom.
