I have an x3m and love BMW but I’m considering an RS5 coupe as a second fun daily, was wanting an M4 but for money you’re spending the G80 and G82s front is just plain ugly lol I don’t need to be told I’ll get used to it since I’m the one buying. So owning both Bmw and Audi is fine

Rs5 has a even bigger grill 🧐 great car nonetheless but it just gets beat out by every car in its class

get a rs5 competition if you want a RS5, The regular one is good but the competition brings it up to whole new level

I wanted an RS car for the longest time until I drove them. After having a modern M car the RS cars are meek in comparison. Just sayin.

Rs cars are a joke aside from the avant. Terrible performers compared to the rest of the class.

True, I dont track the cars so thats no concern for me. I do agree Bmw makes great engines, and the S58 is superb. But can’t cay the same for the looks, I like style and for the money I want to enjoy looking at my car as much as the drive. The G82 fails in the looks department. Hense Rs5 is my alternative. Till BMW gets they’re shit together

All depends honestly. I have a G80 in transit and personally love the look, especially modded (lowered, CF goodies, etc). The G82 I agree is not great proportionally, looks very off in stock format. It’s just tough if you’ve driven the M cars to really go with the RS cars performance wise. They feel straight up neutered comparing the drive trains. But if it were between G82 and an RS5 I would pick the Audi I think. There’s trade offs left and right and it really all comes down to preference.

I daily my G80 on a E50 tune. I love it. After you change the grill it changes it . Honestly I feel any car you buy , it will need some work.

Agreed. Which grille did you go with? I’m pretty sure I’m getting the MHC+ GT grille today.

I went with a V style grill . (Vortsteiner grill from Dongsai). I got it finished in satin.

The under appreciated asset of the performance Audis is the sport version of the Quattro drivetrain, puts up to 80% of power to the rear. Quattro gives you so much confidence in putting your foot down, even in the rain, that you can always have fun in it no matter what. I had a ZL1 Camaro and my SQ5 was almost faster around town bc I never worried about pulling out into traffic with my foot hard down.

It’s a great feeling that I’ve never had in another brand.

Same. I went with an older gen S4 as a fun daily. Needed something that got a bit better gas mileage.
