I want to make my m340i look like a 330i. For starters, I can obviously change the trunk badge and that most people would think it’s the 330i.
But what about the details. I know the bumpers are different, no fog lights, different kidney grill, and exhaust surrounds instead of dual tips. Any other details I’m missing?

biggest things that catch my attention - kidneys, exhaust, wheels, and mirror caps. there are 330i’s with the M sport package but they seem to be pretty rare in the states at least from what i’ve seen. i think if you changed those 4 then most people that aren’t enthusiasts wouldn’t be able to tell
Yeah I agree. I wouldn’t be able to tell if it wasn’t the kidney, fog light, exhaust tips. Since I have the car and know what to look for, it’s a dead giveaway if it has the exhaust surrounds instead of the tips. For a m3, we all know it’s got quad tips so that’s an easy giveaway.
Explain the mirror caps? They look the same as any other 3 series.

This is kinda pointless the general public won’t care(you’ll just be another generic bmw driver) but those who know would immediately figure it out due to the sound and the diffrent rear bumper

Sleeper look. I think the badge would be enough.
A sleeper is a car that is faster than it looks, but hasn’t been specifically made to look slow. Downbadging a car isn’t sleeper, it’s just lowkey cringe.
