    The SUV trend is insane. I’ve heard Americans describe it as a competitive car size problem - if every car on the road is a monster truck then you’re effectively required to drive a monster truck too to be seen by other drivers. But the implications for road safety, emissions and parking needs is crazy. It’s a classic collective action problem.

      @theinspectorst CAFE just needs to be revised to not exempt trucks and have weight/size penalties… Compact cars can tow a decent amount now, work vans are better for many trades, and there are existing ag programs and zoning statuses that can ID farmers if we want to throw them a bone.
