I saw that NixOS is getting popularity recently. I really have no idea why and how this OS works. Can you guys help me understanding all of this ?

I actually installed it after reading this and I have to say it’s pretty fucking sweet.

Compiling your own stuff is a bit unintuitive but overall I love it
