I support unionization but come on this is pretty absurd. There’s no way this would fly here in the US. Imagine, not receiving mail from a federal service because the workers within it disagree with certain practices.
I mean the say that I find it unjust. China can literally take over your whole operation for no reason if they want to. It doesn’t mean I will defend them for doing it, it just is what it is.
It’s not legal in the US. It is legal in Sweden and other Nordic countries.
Who are “they” here? If Tesla hires someone to pick it up they’re breaching the strike which is a big no-no. The only way it could be remotely legal for Tesla to pick them up themselves is if the general manager did it him/herself.
I mean, a union strike is basically a counter-coercion to corporate coercion, so…….
It’s not bad that you disagree with other models of labor/employer relations, but it may be bad that you have lived so long under US concepts that you might not even fathom how things may work elsewhere.

And much of what’s done in the US wouldn’t fly in Sweden. Companies needs to adapt to the local laws.

They aren’t even allowing pickups. That’s the crux of my disagreement here. Striking doesn’t mean you can just do anything with impunity.
