I can’t for the life of me figure out why they would put a single fast ethernet port on them. Ie the single 2.5g or 10g port.

If I have faster than 1gb internet the only thing potentially running at 10g is the wifi which can’t handle that kind of bandwidth.

Am I missing something? Or is this just a stupid product addition.

    Took me a while to realize you mean a >1gbps port? Fast Ethernet is old Cisco nomenclature for a 100mbps port which had me confused for a minute there!

      Not just Cisco. IEEE called it Fast Ethernet, and technically still does.

      I had the same moment of confusion.
