I don’t care what he claims he’s a proponent of, he’s an opponent of a woman having control over their own body because of his Christian religious beliefs, and that’s plenty enough for me to call him a fucking asshole, and to no longer be a fan of his art

Obviously, I can’t confirm this 100%, but based on what he’s said in interviews, I believe he has gone through a similar shift in views that I went through on my journey to Atheism, though he hasn’t made the turn yet. I believe that he is having trouble reconciling his beliefs with his morals. He has publicly stated that he supports Roe v Wade, so I think he is on the right track. While I totally understand and support not wanting to give your money or clicks to a piece of shit, I also think that if some people are on the cusp of change, it only hurts the cause if we shove them away for their past. Again, I don’t know his mind, and I’m just going on my own personal experience, but these are my feelings on the matter.

He’s said clearly that he supports the legal right to abortion. That should be enough to enter the big tent.

He votes pro-choice…he can believe whatever he wants as long as he doesn’t tell other people they have to believe the same as he does. Come on now.

That’s what pro choice means… you can choose not to get an abortion. It’s about the choice. I support Nathan’s right to choose to carry any fetus that sets up shop in his innards to full term.
