I have held red membership for 13 years, i average 4 games a season, women, small cups, and the odd premier league.

Yesterday, i received an email saying they have cancelled my membership because i am linked to someone who is or has been banned for using automated software.

I am so angry, i will call them when they open. I take forever to get Silver, I dont want to be put to the back of a 20+ year queue.

That Wahi guy is a baller, we should keep an eye for him. Too soon to make the jump and be a starter here but he could easily do the Nketiah role

We were linked with him before he signed for Lens, but they paid 35m for him in the summer so he’ll be there for 2 years min I’d imagine

Saka has 17 G/A in 19 games this season in all comps. He got 27 G/A in all comps last season.

We’re only a third of the way through the season and he is already charging towards his insane haul from last season.

Starboy is so so special man

This contrasts with the approach in the US, where the National Football League (NFL) and Major League Baseball (MLB) have publicly-available policies for players, or staff, who have been accused of sexual or domestic violence.

This is also because there are very different procedural rules around naming individuals prior to indictment and the nature of libel laws. It’s not an instance where it’s just on the club, PL, or FA to develop better policies.

As much as his performances for us last season were top quality I would rather see him move on at this point. He’s already spent half his arsenal career injured and we’ve always got these allegations hanging over him/the club - we need to move on.

Basically for the next 10 years our squad building should be having 10 players that complement/support Saka.

Raya has silently kept 7 clean sheets in his 12 appearances for Arsenal. He looks way more confident on the ball than he did a month ago too

I would attribute part of that to how much better our defense is now with everyone improving+Rice. But I just checked their save percentages Raya is on the 99th percentile while Ramsdale 28th wth

Yesterday was just the fucking best. Got to witness an Onana disasterclass then the boys absolute batter some poor Uber Eats team. Wonder how long the Lens fans were kept in the stadium after they decided to chuck flares into the home end

At least our lineup and performance yesterday will put to bed the theory that Arteta was starting Jorginho for our ball progression instead of defensive security. It just never made sense considering the fixtures Jorginho started which were out of choice rather than necessity due to injuries.

Also, Havertz was good yesterday but it’s not because he was playing the role of a second phase midfielder. Rather it was Odegaard who did it - one of the few times he’s played the role this season, with the other times being against PSV, Lens away, and Bournemouth to a lesser extent. Odegaard’s touch maps in these fixtures were incredible, almost box-to-box like instead of being usually stuck next to Saka playing 1-2’s.

Saw the news of the Man City charges verdict might not be decided until 2025… when Pep’s contract is up anyways. Could they just deal with charges piece by piece? Like take 3-4 charges they 100% can prove, dish out 10 point penalty immediately. It seems insane you have charges hanging over you for 3 seasons without penalty and then maybe one season you get 40 point deduction. City can literally just cheat as much as they want and have success, then take a season off where they won’t get CL and then back on the horse again. How is that a penalty?

Even if the penalty in 2025 was demotion to League 2. Why the fuck are they allowed to continue like nothing happened? I get that there is due process and there is a protocol but this would be like a sprinter took so much drugs, it was difficult to prove for sure which he had in his system. So he was just allowed to compete for 3-4 years and go to the Olympics while it was being investigated, then they win gold and when it’s proven, they say ok you can’t compete for one year now :)

I’ve seen a lot of users here comment on how teams play the nastiest low block against us but come out to press other teams. Here’s a comment from the subreddit of another team:

"Looking at that Bellingham goal against Napoli, as well as other teams against each other in the prem, always puzzles me.

Why does everyone press us at 100km/hr, while they just park the bus and play at pedestrian pace against the other top clubs?"

Me personally, I’d rather be on this end of the aisle.

What you prefer out of those two depends on the squad you have, for us we definetly want them pressing us, with Raya now we have at least the second most press resistant back line in the world. 95 times out of 100 we’ll just play through them and get a dangerous attack going.

That said I do remember in the Emery days and all the way up until last season with Arteta I was a bit jealous of City in how teams just sat back. When we were playing it out with Leno, Luiz and Mari that felt easier
