He’s usually back at the studio doing analysis. Haven’t seen him do on paddock commentary before… has he been out? He looked kind of nervous and out of place but was absolutely on point with his commentary, and also, he’s awesome
I think I’ve seen him doing walks in the pitlane similar to Ted Kravitz? I don’t have F1TV though so it might’ve just been a YouTube video
Sam is amazing, and I’ve loved his energy and enthusiasm this weekend. The man wasn’t slowed down by the rain!
Sam is great
I love Sam’s personality but he seems to always super confidently make predictions that - to a one - never are born out.
I think that’s cause Sam is a car guy not a driver or strat guy. Imo though, he is the car guy.
So how many of his predictions were born out this weekend? I thought we were in for a three stop race at Ferrari, if Sam was to be believed. Look, I love the guys energy, but he is wrong way way waaaaay more often than he’s right — so how exactly is he an expert?
Imo the car guy should be able to make accurate predictions/statements about the car, but I haven’t exactly seen that from Sam
