Hey all,
We are expecting our first at the end of September, and we are tired and scared and stressed. I have been looking for dad groups locally but haven’t found any. Just reading through a few posts here and I feel less alone. Thank you.

You feel natural, don’t sweat it.
Do what works for you. Take advice, but remember every kid is different, so be flexible.
Oh, and introduce toothbrushes early by using them as chew toys while teething. It helps demystify/naturalise them to the kid, they get to hold and manipulate the brush, tie a bit of cord round the end so they don’t lose it when it’s dropped, and a baby’s first toothbrush is usually way too big to be considered a choking hazard. Usually.
(but if it don’t work, no worries!)
