I’m not even remotely far-left, and I thought this was a really wrong take…

Any extremist take is wrong, in my opinion. Socialism? Wrong. Fascism? Wrong. Capitalism? Wrong. Communism? Wrong.

Helping others? Right! And maybe, someday, we can stop trying to do one thing really well, and start doing them all pretty good. That’s the first step to doing everything really well.

See, there’s your problem, you don’t know what you’re talking about.

Time to open your eyes and look at what the actual left wants and does, instead of the one in your imagination. While you’re at it, do the same for the parties you do support, and check if what they’re realizing actually matches what they’re promising - and if that actually helps people instead of just the wealthy.

Either you know this person outside the context provided here, or you’re jumping to radical conclusions about them.

Personally, I think they have it exactly right. Political institutions almost always become corrupt no matter how good the intentions. It happens to literally all of the largest examples on Earth.

Lol yup, that’s how extremism works. That’s exactly the problem right there.

You know nothing of my views, yet the fact I’ve labeled the extreme use of four generic, popular political idealogies as “wrong” has urged you to label my conversation starting statement as “incoherent nonsense.”
