Mine was Astro’s Playroom while I was waiting for Horizon Forbidden West to install. Astro’s Playroom was really good too!

Loved Astros playroom. Not joking when I said that it’s a top 3 PS5 game. Not much of a story ofc, but the platforming and levels, not to mention controller implementation was top tier. 9/10

Actually Astro’s play room as well, but I also play Ghost of Tsushima(I think I was on last Act and trying to plat it at the same time when I beat the final boss), so I transfer my saves over and play the PS4 version on PS5. So I played both at the launch window of PS5. Ghost of Tsushima have really good loading time on PS4 Pro already so when I first play on PS5 I was not really amazed by PS5’s loading time.
I did the same with GoT actually. Once I had placed my PS5 launch order I stopped playing GoT until I could play it on PS5
It’s actually insane how fast the load times are in Ghost of Tsushima. They’re practically instant.
Horizon forbidden west, I loved the first and I’m definitely loving FW as well. Next up is to get the VR2.
Just to be different, my first game was… Astro’s Playroom. 😆 The controller effects were amazing and I’ll never forget when the controller acts and sounds like a spring. That really impressed me.
As for what came next? I honestly can’t remember but I’d been claiming the free PS5 PSN games since they started so it was either Bugsnax or the game where you’re a shark.
I won my PS5 in a Twitter competition and it came with a copy of Dirt 5 but I wasn’t impressed, especially as it used to stutter quite a bit.

Astro’s playroom for me as well. Loved it. After that I played Sackboy and Demon’s Souls. Funny enough, I haven’t finished either of those.
Same! I got the HFW bundle but I played Astro Bot game first. Hope there will be a full sized platformer.
I think I started by playing Cyberpunk 2077 which was my main motivation to get a ps5 as it was apparently unplayable on the ps4. Almost simultaneously, I was playing GT7 (still am) which I started on the ps4.
Strangely, except Astro, I haven’t played another ps5 exclusive yet as I’m mostly playing old games.
Demon’s Souls. My wife and I bought ours in a pack that included the PS5, a headset, Horizon Forbidden West, and Gran Turismo 7. We also bought a used copy of Demon’s Souls and Demon’s Souls was the first game we played on PS5. Was not disappointed.
Nioh 2 upgraded for PS5. Was my favourite game on PS4 and it’s my favourite game on PS5 too. It has three performance options, it’s a really well-done upgrade, and it’s free (the upgrade).
