If you’ve swiped-to-go-back as far as you can go, it’d be nice if that gesture just pulled open the side menu.

Additionally, some people might even want an option to make that gesture always open the side menu instead of going back.

EDIT: It’d also be nice if the terminal endpoint of swiping-to-go-back was always your default feed. I always try to swipe out of my Inbox or Profile or Saved page, and it doesn’t do anything.

absolutely aggreed. swipe to open the drawer for the win.

Additionally, some people might even want an option to make that gesture always open the side menu instead of going back.

Thia would be really awesome, but in a way that back would open the drawer only when you are on the frontpage.

This would make the app so much more convenient. So much so it would prevent all of the unwanted/accidental close of the whole app.

+1 from me. I asked about this when I requested the swipe to back out of a post. I think the dev forgot, can’t blame him, he’s getting requests from all sides at the moment and working non-stop on it.

Hi, thanks for the feedback! I’ve added the following in the latest version (1.0.59):

    • Swiping (from the left edge) when you can’t go back any more will open the drawer
    • Swiping again will show a confirmation box asking if you really want to exit

Odd. That never seemed to be the case for me. I always had to reach up and hit the hamburger menu.

Maybe because I have the Android back gesture enabled instead of the back icon at the bottom of the screen (basically the same as swipe-to-go-back in Connect, but you have to swipe starting at the extreme left edge of the screen) (?)
