Well I spent a few minutes asking #chatgpt what features it’s next version would have.
I then asked it to pretend that it was that version and what the next version would have… I did this about 15 times until I got to chatgpt-20.
I was too scared to continue this process!

It was fun the first couple times, at this point it’s just annoying. The tech media has been tripping all over itself for months now to cash in on all the techbro buzz and just like all the same idiots going on about how everything was going to utilize the blockchain to solve all problems it’s getting just as cringe worthy. When every third or fourth post is yet another article about how AI is going to be doing something soon that AI absolutely will not be doing anytime soon it starts to get exhausting to wade through. At this point any post about AI on here is about as useful or entertaining as a post about NFTs was a year ago.
I mean, it’d be kinda fun, if it didn’t sound like a dumb teenager spitballing about things they have no clue about. This bullshit is downright religious.
I don’t like churches. Don’t want em on my Lemmy, especially in STEM spaces.
