Pretty excited to see G-Sync. I’ve not really noticed tearing anyway, but I’m happy to see them adding more features to GFN. Just wish we could get a shield TV that has VRR and 120hz support!
It’s far beyond time for us to get another shield TV! I got a lot of use out of mine but it’s gotten long enough with no refresh that I replaced mine with an Apple TV 4K. The game library is starting to look a lot better with the Xbox and Activision games, I just hope that they release some of the Activision back catalogue.
How’s the apple TV working for you? I’m sure as a media device it’s fantastic. I played with one briefly at my friend’s house and the UI is slick. Does it have GFN capabilities?
Same, looking forward to Activision and Blizzard. I would love to play Diablo 2 in the cloud.
No browser so sadly no native GeForce now. I get a good experience airplaying from my iPad to the Apple TV though so it’s just a bit worse than GFN straight through the shield.
If GFN was the only thing I needed it for, I’d have probably stuck with the shield but for having a snappy and clean media interface, it’s much nicer. Especially using infuse media player to play media directly off of Google drive rather than trying use Kodi with addons that break and aren’t maintained
